Ideas for Action (I4A) Club is a national, informal organization aiming to promote and encourage higher national and regional participation in the Ideas for Action initiative by the World Bank and Wharton University of Pennsylvania. Our main activities include organization of promotional events, team building, skills enhancement, and consultation on project management.
TheIdeas for Action Competition(I4A) competition engages young people around the world to encourage them to develop and share their ideas for financing solutions to deliver the post-2015 development agenda. It is a youth competition on financing for development jointly launched in November 2014 by the World Bank Group and the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
The Foundation Alliance of Civilizations organized the I4A Introductory Seminar which was held on 19 December at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology, IZIIS, University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius".
The seminar was dedicated to introducing the I4A initiative and guidelines for the second I4A competition, with a unique opportunity to discuss the competition with Prof. Djordjija Petkoski - Lecturer and Senior Fellow, Wharton, University of Pennsylvania.

About the competition: The World Bank and the Wharton School are hosting the second Ideas for Action competition to provide young leaders from around the world with a unique opportunity to shape the international development agenda.
Small groups of students and young professionals will develop new approaches to financing and implementing the UN’s newly approved Sustainable Development Goals. The finalists and winners will be selected by a panel of academics and experienced development professionals from public and private sector institutions. Winners of the competition get the opportunity to present their ideas at the Spring and Annual Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group, receive support from a project incubator at the Wharton School, and will benefit from unique networking opportunities with experts from international development, academia, and the private sector.
